Custom-built lifting table for food production in Saudi Arabia

At JEMA LIFT, we manufacture lift tables for a wide range of industries and applications – and the task often requires a solution tailored to very specific requirements. This project is a good example.

For National Food Industries Co. Ltd. in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, we have manufactured a custom-built hydraulic lift table for use in the company’s food production facilities. The customer required a compact and robust solution capable of withstanding heavy loads and intensive daily operation.

The result is a bespoke lift table with a lifting capacity of 800 kg and a platform measuring just 610 × 380 mm.

The lift table is based on our SP-610380S3T0.8. With the platform’s compact dimensions of 610 × 380 mm, the table takes up minimal space in the production area, whilst being able to handle a uniformly distributed load of up to 800 kg.

The minimum height is 435 mm, whilst the vertical travel is 1,010 mm. This means that the lift table can reach a total height of 1,445 mm.

An important part of the project has been to dimension the solution to the expected load in production. The table is therefore designed as our X-model for intensive use, which, in this configuration, is rated for up to 400 lifts per day at a load of 800 kg.

This makes the lift table well-suited to a production environment where it is to be an integral part of daily operations and perform many lifting cycles.

When a lifting table is to be integrated into a food production line, the choice of materials plays a key role. For this project, the lifting table has therefore been manufactured with an AISI 304 stainless steel finish, including the hydraulic cylinder.

The stainless steel construction provides a robust solution and makes the table well-suited to the demands of a production environment within the food industry.

The lifting table weighs approximately 210 kg and is fitted with an external electro-hydraulic unit with a five-metre hydraulic hose. The motor is rated at 1.5 kW, and the system is designed for 3 × 400 V AC / 50–60 Hz.
